We all want to get the most out of our wine drinking experience. One way to do that is drinking wine when it’s at the proper temperature. The short version is white wine is chilled and red wine is served at room temperature. While that is a good start, it is also good to keep some numbers in mind.
Dry white wine and sparkling wine are usually best when they are chilled to approximately 50 degrees.
Full-bodied reds are best served at 60 to 65 degrees.
But what if you don’t have your thermometer handy?
