The World & Wine with New Releases Every Weekend in March

This month we are releasing the 2010 vintage of our Unoaked Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Vidal Blanc. Each weekend we are featuring a new release paired with foods inspired by the regions that made them famous. Wine tasting is $5 and includes food pairings and a souvenir glass.

French Pairing Weekend
March 5, 6
11 am to 5 pm

Chardonnay is an incredibly versatile grape that can be captivating when aged in oak, creating a rich, aromatic, full-bodied wine. Without oak, it takes on a livelier character. We are pouring the new Unoaked Chardonnay vintage this weekend with cheese selections from France, Chardonnay’s home. Crisp, fruit-driven and fragrant, this is the variety that won “Best Chardonnay” at the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition in 2009.

St. Patty’s Day Celebration
March 12, 13, 16, 17 & 18
12 noon to 5 pm

Come celebrate St. Patty’s day in style! Don’t like green beer? Try green wine. Our winemakers are making their annual green libation. We will be serving Irish-inspired treats like Irish soda bread and farmhouse cheddar. Enter our “Guess the Green Wine” contest and see if your palate is keen enough to figure out which wine it is.

Italian Pairing Weekend
March 19, 20
11 am to 5 pm

Italy is known throughout the word for its food and wine. Many Italian dishes complement the complex aroma and flavors of Pinot Grigio. This weekend we will be pouring the latest vintage of this aromatic wine with Italian dishes carefully selected by our sommelier.

American Pairing Weekend
March 26, 27
11 am to 5 pm

Vidal Blanc is a French/American hybrid grape that makes a wonderfully refreshing white wine. Keeping with the theme of the month, we will pair our latest release of Vidal with bite-sized samples of American classics.
